Role
My role in my team is designing the temporary shelter, organisation of hubs, plantation & paths. I used Rhino 7 to design the hubs & pavilion of the site. Lumion for the rendering.
The project begins with my brief, as my role in the Home and Belonging Journal, we examine the often-overlooked complexities of displacement, emphasizing its profound effects on individuals' sense of home and belonging. Drawing from the lived experiences highlighted in the studies of Kams and Bawden, our project seeks to illuminate the challenges faced by displaced individuals. Through in-depth research and critical reflection, we aim to cultivate empathy and understanding within our communities. Our design initiative focuses on creating a final site and modular spaces that prioritize comfort and interconnectedness. Each module is thoughtfully conceived to accommodate individual needs, fostering an environment where all can rediscover their sense of belonging.
